Accuracy matters more than speed on a site about the law. When we make a mistake, we correct it openly.
How we handle errors
- Factual errors such as a wrong limit, age, fine, date or section number are fixed as soon as we confirm them against the source.
- Outdated information caused by a change in the law is updated, and the guide’s update date changes to show it.
- Significant corrections that change the answer to a reader’s question are noted at the end of the guide with the date of the fix.
- Typos and small wording fixes are corrected without a note.
